Collection of letters by a youn french soldier, a painter, written at the Argonne-front, up till April 1915 when he was reported missing after a battle. A small part of the letters have earlier been published in "Revue de Paris", 1st. and 15th of April, 1915. A moving "document humain", in a private full vellum binding, untrimmed. Very good copy. Rare.
