Handelsblad", reviewing the publication, all loosely inserted. ["Uitgelezen Boeken, Katern voor Boekverkopers en Boekenkopers", Jaargang 6 nummer 2]. ADDED an illustrated original press clipping, dated 13 september 1996, by Rudy Kousbroek, a conribution and assessment of the novels by Dé-Lilah (Lucie van Renesse).
The first ever published bio-bibliography on the dutch colonial [probably eurasian] authoress Lucie van Renesse (pseud.: Dé-Lilah), Probolinggo, Java, c. 1850-19X, married to a Deli-planter. Tog. 6 novels by her hand ave been published, with as subject dutch colonial society and their 'relation' to eurasians. Only 500 copies published. In orig. publ. illustrated envelope. Very fine copy. Rare. (some light damage to flap of envelope).
