Sadrach (c. 1835-1924) was the leader of a religious movement in Central-Java, initially affiliated with the Dutch Missions Society (NGZV), but who went its own way in a nominal relationship with a branch of the Catholic Apostolic Church, following Sadarach's denunciation as a heretic in 1891. Good copy. Rare. (spine sunned, gilt lettering faded, some light shaving to extremities of boards, very clean copy).

Dutch language privately conducted inquiry after author's own recollection, private diary and other unpublished and private diaries as kept by fellow inmates in two japanese internment camps for men and boys from the age of 14 on Java: Ambarawa-8 and labour camp Bandoengan II. Study includes a full alphabetical name-list of former inmates, stating camp registration id. numbers, names and age which is quite unusual. Paperback (as orig. publ.). Very good copy.
