Author discusses and describes its introduction bhy law in 1880, rules and regulations, coolie recruitment, midicarelabour contracts, wages, etc. Author recommends its abolition on grounds of humanity, suppression of inhuman penalties, improvement of the dutch colonial system in international opposition. This law aas abolished in 1931. Good copy. (spine with a modern cloth stripdog-eared).
